Speed Checks Conducted on Leicester Road

Officers from the Mountsorrel Beat Team were out on Leicester Road this evening carrying out speed checks, as tackling speeding remains one of our local policing priorities.

During the enforcement activity, a total of 70 vehicles were checked. It was pleasing to see that the vast majority of motorists were complying with the speed limit and driving responsibly through the area.

One driver was stopped and given words of advice regarding their speed.

We regularly carry out speed enforcement and engagement activity in response to concerns raised by residents and to help keep our roads safe for everyone. Thank you to those who continue to report issues to us and support our efforts in improving road safety across Mountsorrel.
